NOE9 is an Interior Architecture studio based in Zurich and Milan that deals with Architecture, Interior and Furniture Design projects, Research and Concept Development. With a rich experience in design projects, private and commercial, Maddalena Barabaschi and Luca Gralluzzo with their team provide a unique combination of interior and architectural services running any aspect of the project starting from the Design concept creation and Concept development ending with the Project management.

Through a meticulous and bespoke material and lighting research, NOE9 design process, always explores the hidden connection between conventional and unconventional in order to create unique spaces with a strong identity and authenticity, which have a powerful but simple and understated expression integrating the subtleties of the rational and attention to detail. By combining creativity with a deep understanding of clients’ needs, NOE9 crafts sophisticated spaces that reflect the unique essence of each Client. Client benefits from a high quality, stylish blend of International and Italian design philosophy, coupled to a rich knowledge of building technologies and products gathered in these Countries and beyond.

MADDALENA BARABASCHI
ARCHITECT & FOUNDER

After graduating as an architect at Politecnico di Milano, she started her career in the field of interior architecture, gaining invaluable experience working on high-profile projects in Retail, Hospitality, and Residential design across Milan, London, and Zürich. With many years of experience, she now brings her passion for thoughtful, bespoke design to every project, focusing on crafting spaces that are both functional and timeless. “I love thinking about space as a tailored dress. It is a unique design, shaped by its own form and light.”

LUCA GRALLUZZO
INTERIOR DESIGNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

After Graduating in Interior Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, he has gained a vast experience in Residential and Retail Projects all around the world, dealing with Private Clients and many of the most famous Brands in Luxury and Fashion Industry.

Colored glass that connects and separates. This is the central element of the interior of the house in Trüllikon, Switzerland. The architects from the NOE9 studio are expanding the possibilities of modern design here. The blue and yellow glass not only creates eye-catching colour accents, but also different lighting situations and blurs the boundaries between rooms.

A severe geometry. A box made of microarchitectures, volumes and surfaces. Of sculptural furnishings and plays of color that add an artistic and decorative touch to the environment. “The clients' desire was to maintain as much as possible the nature of the villa: a completely asymmetrical open space both inside and out.”
